Chart toppers SCOUTING FOR GIRLS are to double headline at Clumber Park’s first music festival on Friday 15 August, with Brit award nominated THE FEELING. Music lovers are set to descend on Clumber Park for what is being billed as the ‘ultimate party’ in the park this summer.

Talented five piece THE FEELING already have a fine collection of recognisable tunes with top 10 chart favourites, ‘I love it when you call’, ‘Fill my little world’ and ‘I thought it was over’ and are currently enjoying massive success with their chart topping second album ‘Join with us’. SCOUTING FOR GIRLS hit the headlines in 2007 with instant top ten successes with their first singles ‘It’s not about you’, ‘She’s so lovely’ and ‘Elvis Ain’t Dead’ from their debut album and are presently basking in the achievement of the latest April 2008 release ‘Heartbeat’.

SUPPORT GROUP ‘line up’ also taking to the Clumberfest stage this year include Mercury Music Prize nominees Turin Brakes and 2008 sensations The Rushes.

With over 300 million albums sold worldwide, Queen are one of a select few truly iconic British bands that can claim to be a supergroup. With over four decades of music and 18 number one albums to their names, they are recognized as one of the most influential rock bands of all times.

2008 sees the launch of a new concert celebrating the music of Queen, which will give fans the opportunity of hearing these classic songs as never before. The Music Of Queen – A Rock & Symphonic Spectacular, features full rock band and stars from the West End smash hit musical We Will Rock You, combined with a 60-piece symphony orchestra, performing epic arrangements of Queen’s music.

“Stunning” and “awesome” are just two of the words which have been used to describe this concert experience and composer Richard Sidwell has done an incredible job in expanding original Queen arrangements into a completely new symphonic score.

With over seventy performers on stage this has to be one of the biggest rock shows on earth, featuring all of Queen’s classic hits including A kind of Magic, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, We Are The Champions, Somebody To Love, Who Wants To Live Forever, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me now, Fat Bottomed Girls, I Want It All, and many more.

The concert at Clumber Park will climax with a stunning fireworks finale. Don’t miss this unique event!
